Teddy Lee Ellis

Teddy Lee Ellis, 62 of Lenore went home to be with the lord on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. at home surrounded by family.

Born September 7, 1961. the son of the late Roel, and Mabel Ellis. In addition to his parents, he was also proceeded in death by one sister Romaine Sherwood, brothers Larry “Poley” Ellis, Robert Ellis and Richard Ellis.

Ted was a born again Christian and faithful member of the Laurel Creek Freewill Baptist Church. When he wasn’t at church, working or talking to his friends about the bible, you could find him on the couch cheering on his Pittsburgh Steelers or West Virginia Mountaineers, no one had a safe seat around him from the excitement. He loved hunting and being outdoors, sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee and spending time with friends and family.

Those left to cherish his memory. Wife Kelly Ellis, two daughters Lynn (Harold) Preece and Heather Hamilton. One little spoiled dog Alf. Special friends Barbara (Steve) Sammons and Rick Hinkle. One brother, Oliver Ellis of Oklahoma, four sisters: Anna Lou Walls of Logan, Kathy (Dempsey) Lively of Fayette County, Marsha (Matt) Trevor of Florida, and Vickie (Mike) McNeil of Spencer.

Visitation will be Friday March 22, 2024 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm with brother James Ed Baisden officiating

Service will be Saturday March 23, 2024 at 1:00pm with brother Cornelius Lackey Officiating

at Laurel Creek Freewill Baptist church, burial will follow at Evans Cemetery on Laurel Creek.

Pallbears will include: Todd Bolyard, Nelson Hall, Brad Hall, Harold Preece, J.R. Stapleton , Billy Jo Hall, Larry Lee Ellis, Bryce Hamilton, Tony Hall.
